Kevin Hastings, D.O. is a Doctor of Osteopathy; practicing Osteopathic influenced internal medicine based pain management. This combined training has enabled Dr. Hastings to treat a growing population of patients who experience ongoing chronic pain.
Dr. Hastings attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Ft. Worth Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. After obtaining is Doctorate of Osteopathy (DO) he completed his residency locally at United Health Services at Wilson Memorial. Prior to medical school, Dr. Hastings had endured two major injuries himself. His medical training merely enhanced, scientifically, his quite tangible understanding of pain. He knows what it feels like to be injured, to need pain meds, recover, and to wean off of them if possible.
All of his experience, both professionally and personally has led him to recognize patterns of injury. There’s a lot of overlap and similar disturbances when one looks at the common threads of pain.
Along with running his practice, Dr. Hastings has been the team physician for Binghamton Professional Hockey since 1995. He also spent six years in the ER and four years as Hospice Medical Director.
